Hardware at last...?
Is this Arsenal's year? After five arduous years of wait, the Gunners are, at last, in prime position to poach a much needed piece of silverware for Arsene Wenger's trophy cabinet. Gunners fans around the world eagerly await the second leg of the Carling Cup Semi-Final between Birmingham City and West Ham. West Ham has the slight edge after an exciting 2-1 win in the first leg through Carlton Cole's late winner. Will the 2011 League Cup be Arsenal's first notable accolade since the legendary invincibles? Only time will tell; nonetheless, we Gooners are in for an exciting final at Wembley.
