Rooney to be Charged by the FA?

As Wayne Rooney celebrates a fantastic match winning hat-trick against West Ham, he will also be waiting to hear his fate after the FA decides whether they will punish his despicable outburst.

After saving a match that was pivotal in bolstering Manchester United's title challenge, Rooney appeared on camera and screamed f*** you - an outburst that ruined what was a stunning performance from England's talisman.

With emotions running high, Rooney's diatribe may be deemed understandable - to fans at least. The FA on the other hand will look sternly at the matter, knowing well that Rooney is a role model for a plethora of young children both nationally and globally.

Similarly, Didier Drogba was punished 2 years ago for an on screen outburst after Chelsea had been knocked out of the Champions League by Barcelona after Iniesta's injury time goal sealed the Catalan giant's route to the next round. UEFA decided upon a European ban for Drogba, which meant he was not allowed to play in the group stages the following year.

It will be interesting to see what action the FA takes seeing as it could prove pivotal for Man Utd's title challenge.
